Our state-of-the-art greenhouses minimize resource consumption and maximize yields using controlled environments so we can regulate temperature, light, and humidity. That means we can extend our growing season and ensure fresh produce 365 days a year. So, at the end of the day, we’re still doing what farmers do–delivering nutrient-rich, flavorful food that your family will love. We’re just looking out for Mother Nature too.

We manage pests naturally to reduce pesticides

Thanks to our Integrated Pest Management system (IPM), we can naturally eliminate the use of virtually all pesticides by using good bugs like ladybugs to tackle bad bugs like mites. Nature Fresh Farms® is also home to 1.4 million Bumble Bees that naturally pollinate our plants – over 10 million tomato flowers every week!

Our closed-loop system reduces water use by up to 90%

We put the green in greenhouse clean. Nature Fresh Farms® integrates a cutting-edge closed-loop water system in our greenhouses to create safe, reusable irrigation that is 10x more efficient than field growing.

While continuously recirculating and reusing water, this pioneering system also recycles essential nutrients for plant growth.

Discovery Center

Just outside Leamington, Ontario on a 2.5-acre plot sits a greenhouse where consumers and scientists put their heads together to create groundbreaking innovations. Most call it R&D. We call it the Nature Fresh Farms® Discovery Center.

Since 2015, we’ve been meticulously gathering consumer feedback to test thousands of varieties of peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and berries so we can bring you some of the world’s best-tasting produce. Folks might say we’re a little obsessed in our quest for taste perfection. We’d say they’re right.
